50/50 is an all-levels class balancing the yang (masculine) and yin (feminine) energies. The class starts with an active vinyasa flow practice that develops strength, flexibility and endurance following by a soft stretching cool down working into the connective tissues of the body.
Functional Flow is a unique all-levels flow class with a special focus on breath awareness. Taught by yoga therapist, Adonia Tsakalakis, this powerful class will help increase body awareness, improve your alignment and challenge your balance.
Join your kids on the mat for a play-based, fun-filled, bonding-moment type of yoga class. The class is 45 minutes in duration and is open to kids 3+. While older kids are welcome, the class is designed for children 3-6 years.
Gentle Yoga is a slow moving practice ideal for beginners or those looking for gentle stretching, strengthening postures and relaxation. Depending on the class the class may be taught in a flow or hatha style.
Hipster is designed with your joints in mind - the big ones that tend to get tight - hips and shoulders. So, while this class might be a bit slower moving than our Mindful or Energetic Flow classes, it will challenge you in different ways. Lots of
shoulder and hip openers and a strong focus on foundation and proper alignment. A great prep for flow classes. A great way to relieve tension and gain greater freedom of movement.
Mom + Baby
Mom + Baby is a postnatal program designed to help mom’s body recover, create bonding moments between parent and child through baby poses and massage and open up a community of others just starting down the path of parenthood.
Open to dads and babies (6weeks – crawling) as well as adoptive parents and babies. Nursing, crying and diaper changes welcome in the class.
Older also welcome to come to the studio although they will not be included in the class. Please let us know in advance if you would like to bring an additional little one so we can attempt to engage an volunteer. Feel free to bring toys or a movie to keep older children occupied.
A prenatal yoga class like no other. Maximum ten students per class translate to LOTS of personal attention. Blankets, bolsters, and blocks soothe and support. Strengthen glutes, open shoulders, and hips, soothing guided meditation.
Yin yoga is a slow moving practice where each of the poses is held for three to five minutes. The body is supported by props allowing the opening to move into the connective tissue and deeper layers of muscle. Yin yoga is a wonderful compliment to flow yoga or other physical activities.
Find your foundation, align your spine and breathe. Yoga Flow is a movement-oriented class designed to help you strengthen, lengthen and find balance. Postures can be modified to fit most practitioners. All levels welcome.
